Of Mice and Men (gaming men)

Ok, so I just ordered a Logitech G5 mouse. I am really looking forward to having a mouse I can rely upon in CS:S (ball mouse=very unreliable). However, in anticipation of this rodent's arrival, I decided I should learn about it. I have no idea where I should keep the dpi settings.

So far, I understand dpi very little. Supposedly this mouse gets up to 2000 dpi. Is that where I should keep the settings so as to get the most accuracy out of my mouse? Oh, I run Counter strike at 1680x1050 resolution, if that helps at all.

Also, if any of you play CS:S and have a mouse like this, where did you put your settings?

Keep the mouse dpi as high as possible and then adjust the mouse settings in game. Your settings, in game, are going to completely depend on your own preferences/reaction speed/etc.

agreed... I keep mine in middle for BF2 and when in tanks at high.

I had that mouse and played BF2. Always kept it on high.
Pretty good mouse for gaming.
