Hi guys , i have the following reg :
CPU : Intel Core 2 Due E8400 @ 385 X 8.0
Motherboard : Asus Maximus Formula Non-SE PSU : Zalman 750W SLI v2
HDD : 1 WD 7500RPM SATAII 160GB : SATA configuration in BIOS is : AHCI
My PC boots in 30-35 seconds , i know since i have only 1 HDD its gonna take longer time than if i have 2 or 2 HDD's , but the problem is not @ windows loading level (windows bootscreen) , its @ the ASUS BIOS logo level , it takes @ least 10 seconds , and i know people almost with same Hardware configuration that i have that their PC's boots in like 12 seconds or less , so please does any 1 have an idea about this ??
Anso - Regular use of a good aftermarket Defragger that does system files on start up will make a difference.
