I built a new computer with a GA-P35-S3G and a E8200 processor. This is the first time I have used a Gigabyte board.

It seems to be running fine, I have ran a couple of long term trial runs (this is a audio recording computer) and it hasn't hiccuped yet.

The only problem that I see (which might just be superficial) is when you look at the system properties in Windows XP or on any system property tools I have tried, it says that the processor is a 65nm processor.

I know it's not. I have checked like 30 times now...(just to make sure I'm not crazy!...or does that make me crazy?!?!)

Was there a setting somewhere that I missed? Or is this normal? If anyone has some Sage wisdom, I would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the specs, just to so you know:

Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G MOBO
Intel E8200 2.66 Core 2 Duo 45nm
4 gigs of Kingston HyperX PC2 8500 ram
PCI-E Radeon 128mb Graphics Card

Any help is welcome.

Thanks.

download the latest bios and this should hopefully recognise your 45nm chip
