I have an ext passport hard drive, I put it in a pc to convert an omf to ptf protools, then I put it in a mac to access and work in a protools session and it can see all the files when I open it in the program, but it can't read any files when I open the passoport hard drive directly - it's coming up with 3 folders - Recycled, Stuff(my file name) and System Volume Information containing a restore folder with three more folders. What can I do so the hard drive reads the files?

Hi Beverly. Sorry, but I really don't understand. omf to ptf?

It's possible that your external hard drive partitions were formatted to use the NTFS file system used by Windows. This renders the partition unreadable to Macs. Try reformatting to the FAT32 format.
