So, I currently have a Q9450 at 3.2 - super stable on a Gigabyte DS4 with 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair DDR2-800
FSB = 400, so that my FSB:RAM ratio is 1:1
I'm wanting to OC my FSB up to 450, but I don't know if my RAM can take it. Does anyone have any experience with these parts (specifically the Corsair RAM) and its overclocking abilities. A 50mHz OC just seems like a lot to me.
If you increase the voltage by +.1v and relax timings a bit you should be able to hit 850Mhz. No one can really tell you how high the RAM you have can go, so best way is to try it.
