Putting Slow RAM In A Fast PC

I Currently Have 2 GBs of 800MHz RAM in dual channel creating a 1:1 ratio with my FSB (which is obviously 1600MHz). I have a gig of 633MHz RAM and I was wondering what would happen if I put that in my system. Meaning would it slow down or speed up?

It will underclock your other ram or oc to the other ram if it can.

Most likely if you dont underclock the ram to run the slower speed, you will have issues.

1g of 800 is like $20, so you might as well do that.

If your running in dual channel and you add a 3rd stick you will be in single channel.
