for some reason when i boot my computer and its loading vista just before the vista display appears a blue screen appears and then my computer restarts keeps happening over and over. This is my new build but the hardrive is for my previous machine.
spec
q6600
msi p6n diamond
4gig ocz ram
9800gtx antec earthwatt 500.

nvm all i did was re install vista everything is fine now thanks tho.

Sounds like it was a driver thing. I had a similar issue when i somehow managed to install the ATI Tool driver twice. I still don't know how it happened, bit nonetheless it was a BSOD every time i tried to boot it.

I had to boot in safe mode and uninstall it.

Not really a driver thing, but if you make a major change to the hardware (such as a new motherboard), you need to reinstall Windows so it knows which hardware it is dealing with at startup. The OP's problem was that Windows still thought he had his old motherboard.
