I'm not bashing you, but I'm sorta tired of this styma that NForce cannot OC. Fact is there are plenty of Intel boards that won't OC either. It's really a hit or miss with your CPU motherboard combo.

Here is an amazing OC with Nvidia board. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/250010-29-e8500-8ghz

correct, just because one board and cpu can't overclock dosent mean with the same board and idderent cpu can't either.

I had the P5NE-Sli mobo with an 2.1GHz c2d cpu in it and got it to 2.6 with no problems.

If you hit the nail one the head with the correct combo then you should be able to overclock fine.

yeah i know, and we all know, but i dont think you can reach really over 4ghz on an nforce mobo. Im currently running 3.6 and waiting for WC to go further.

Ill try.....
