G92 8800gts is significantly faster than 3870 at stock, and also has higher oc headroom, so 8800gts should win out. It also cost more though.

A single G92 8800GTS can easily beat a Radeon 3870 without breaking a sweat.

A single G92 8800GTS is even a match for (or slightly outperforms) two Crossfired Radeon 3870 except in BioShock and Call of Juarez.

Is this a trick question? Do you like giving to charity?

Call of Juarez was fun IMO, a break from the traditional first person shooter.

this is a stupid comparison, the 8800 GTS massivly surpasses the 3870. Its better than the GTX in most low res Benchmarks.

My answer is def 8800 GTS 512 (200-250) while the 3870 (180-220) is a lousy card when it comes to filtering as well.
