Hello, I have a mac os x laptop. I installed windows via bootcamp and it worked just fine. But I cannot connect to the internet on the windows side, but I can connect on my mac side. Can somebody give me a guide on how to connect to the internet on the windows side? Im not very familiar with windows, so Im a bit lost. Any help appreciated
Look in the taskbar by the clock in windows, there should be a little wireless icon down there, right click or double click on it, and tell it to view wireless networks, and it should scan for your network. Welcome to the dark side, lol. I'm apple certified, but started on windows:-)
Hmmm there wasnt an icon on the taskbar. I only installed service pack 2, should I install something e lse? If not is there any other ways to connect wirelessly? I connect wirelessly on the mac side just fine, this is soo wierd.
Hhmm, check in control panel, then network connections, and look for the wireless connection in there. If you see it, look at the properties, and tell it to show in the taskbar when connected. That's my preference anyway. If it's not there, then go back to control panel, then to system, and under advanced check the device manager to be sure that the proper drivers for your wireless card are installed. If not, install those, and recheck things again. Hope this helps.
