The irony though, Intel adopting Crossfire X as their preferred graphics platform and (if the article is true) Nvidia cosying up to AMD to allow SLi on their AM2+/AM3 platform! Who said AMD were in a weak position?!
It's not the CPU that supports SLI it's the chipset, why should that be news. Nehalem is the CPU, and the first batch of them coming out are the Server chips. SO I ask again? why is this news? Apparently some people have short memory spans. But I digress. Let's not forget that Nvidia won't license SLI to Intel, so why is this news?
