I think there is a faster Seagate 7200.11

Also, there some talk about the Crucial Ballistix not being the quality it used to be. Something about the chips they use. Maybe someone else will post something about them.

not right now but for sure at the end of summer

this build will run on a 20inch wide , so it's not like I need alot of GP at the moment

Isn't that 8600 something like $130 even after discounts and stuff? You should seriously consider the 9600 unless you need to boot to linux... then stick with the 8600.

uh nevermind, i can't read today... it says 8800 and not 8600 like my eyes told me the first time i looked at it.
