Hi,


I've been using the Seagate Barracuda 7200 IDE and Samsung Spinpoint 40 gb lately somthings wrong with it.


I download files my other PC and transfer it to this Hard Drive using Pen Drive. Everything was working fine until 2 months ago. When whatever RAR or ISO sometimes EXE file i download doesnt work.

For .exe - Corrupt
For ISO and RAR file - CAB files fail miserably.BUT the same files works smoothly on other computers without any flaws.


I have a Blue and Yellow slot for IDE in my MOBO. And The Seagate is in Primary 1 Master - Seagate
Secondary 1 Slave - Samsung spin point

Hey hash, have you tried swapping drives? (make your current primariy secondary, and vice-versa)
