How do I sign in as administrator in normal mode

I am trying to uninstall norton and it is telling me that I have to be logged as administrator

Restart computer, tapping the F8 key once a second. A screen will appear asking how you want to boot. Choose Safe Mode.
When the Welcome screen shows up, select Administrator .
When safe mode is about to show up, it will ask if you would rather perform a system restore point rollback. Decline, going on into Safe Mode.
Go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall Norton and Live Update there.
