Which is best? manual speed control that comes with the hs&f or mobo cpu fan spead control?

I just ordered a Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120mm Core Contact Freezer CPU Cooler from newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

it comes with a fan speed controller.

should i use it or the mobo auto cpu fan speed control?

This is my first high end cpu cooler. thanks for the info.

From my experience - I've always used controllers for case fans, but haven't got a CPU controller. I find the advantage of having controllers is the linear approach the coolers/fans take - (ie: low, medium, high speeds) It provides a stable platform which is more predictable and consistant than the auto feature, though, I would think that with the controller comes a bit more power consumption. It's also more hassle, if you'd rather just play it safe.

Which would give better cooling results under load?

would the mobo controls run the HS fan at its highest while the cpu is under load?

It should, or else the mobo isn't doing its job lol.
