first off, any and all suggestions are welcome.

im going to buy a new computer, ranging from 1600-1650 euros,
so you can assume around 1700 dollars. (since prices of parts dont follow currency rates, unfortunately)
id like it to be a quiet system, and i already have the following ideas:

Noctua NH-U12P Aluminium (for cpu cooling)
Nexus Technology Real Silent Case Fan 120 Mm*3 (for case cooling)
Logitech Keyboard G11
Logitech Mouse MX518
Antec p182 case

anyways, ill be using this primarily for gaming,
it will need a monitor mouse and keyboard,
id like to have 8GB of ram

also, should i buy it now or should i wait for new processor/videocard lines?
all suggestions are welcome :)

edit- updated idea list

I'd say 22" monitor min. your spending all that mony to make prety moving pictures. might as well make 'em big.

if your going w/ silent fans, no need for fan controler. get noisy fans, then make them quiet.

why an alumninum cooler if your going aftermarket?

a 22' would seem nice indeed, should i get the samsung 226bw or the 226cw?

the fan controller is of the list than.

the aluminimium cooler has had some very good reviews, especially performance/db wise. if you have better suggestions though, please tell me them.

ive had some further idea's:
Logitech Keyboard G11
Logitech Mouse MX518
these seem to be pretty good when i look on newegg

Antec p182 case
this seems to be a nice, quiet case. anybody had personal experience with this one?

also, im still wondering whether or not i should get sli/crossfire or single card?

SLI and Crossfire systems aren't really interresting: you need to buy 2 identical cards and an appropriate PSU to get 30% better graphic performances

it's usually cheaper to buy a single card and update it when needed

for a 1500€ PC, assuming you'll put up tu 300-400€ in the screen and other peripherals, it leave us a good budget for a silent PC:

Q6600 or E8200/8400 processor

Asus P5K Pro or P5K Prenium

2X1Go Crucial Ballistix or G.Skill HK (better for gaming but more limited if you want to overclock)

2X250Go SATA hard drives (in RAID 0)

Any case you want with a Seasonic S12/M12 600W (M12 is Modular, wich can be interresting )
or Antec Sonata III with a 550 NeoHe PSU included

any CD/DVD reader/burener

and a 8800 GT or 9800 GTX
