Just purchased a 2600 Ati pci-e card and a sata hard disk. (I plan on buying another sata drive (and raid 0 them) in the futher but not right now). Case fans: 2 (but connected to motherboard). Running p4. 3 IDE drives (but dont need 1 of them). 1 Floppy driver (but again dont need it now).

Would this 550W psu be ok for my current needs....

Never heard of that manufacturer. If you stick with Antec/Corsair/PCP&C/FSP you'll have a better PSU than just generic ones. Not sure what your budget is for the PSU, but don't skimp on it. It's probably the most important part of your computer purchase.

P4 3.4 (550)

Dabs have dabs value. Tesco have teso value. Extra value is ebuyer's version of this.

I currently have a psu but I need something a little more powerful for my new Ati 2600.

<£30 and around 450W+

Go with a name brand power supply. When you buy cheap you get cheap. It does not even come with the power cord,! lol Buy a decent power supply,or sit there a month from now and wish you did.

I'd find a better PSU.

From the output ratings (the relatively high 5 volt and 3.3 volt ratings), this looks like a last generation design PSU that the manufacturer simply added a SATA power cable and a PCI-e graphics power cable.

Here's what I mean:
From my Antec 550 w TP3 box:
5 volts - 24 a, 3.3 volts - 24 a, 12 volts - 42 a max. Now, that last is clearly impractical, because if I max out the 12 volt rails, that leaves only 46 watts for the rest of the system.

It's rated at 25 deg. C. That is room temperature. As the PSU internal temps rise, the power output will drop.

Antecs (good, but not great), like other good brands are rated for full output at 50 deg. C.

And if adding or subtracting a drive to the PSU load affects operation, you need a more powerful PSU.

Yeah, that one doesn't look to good. Nothing about it suggests quality, from the rating at 25C to the claim that it "is highly popular with its attractive fan..."
Furthermore, it also has only one SATA connector, so it would not meet your specific requirement for an additional drive connector.

I try to go with the motto that you get what you pay for so you wont get much with a no name power supply. The power supply is definatly not the place to take shortcuts either.
