I am finalizing my build for the next year or so

I have all the components picked out.

I have chosen a q6600 and a 750i mobo because I will need to upgrade my pc and next year for nahalem anyway so i believe that i can afford to spend a little less on those to components right now.

Would a 9800gtx sli be bottlenecked by a q6600 I intend to use step up to the 9900 in July and since bfg has a 100 day over the 90 days of evga.

I also intend to overclock the q6600 to 3ghz

also would this power supply be good for the setup

That PSU looks well up to the job, and I really shouldn't think that the GTX would be bottlenecked, but don't quote me on that.

are you planning to oc the q6600? with a decent oc the q6600 would definatly keep up with a 9800 gtx

Sorry I think i need to be a little more clear I was worried that the 9800gtx sli would be bottlenecked by a q6600 oc to 3ghz aka would the cpu bottleneck the gpu. Thanks for the help so far

^ No as long as you play most of the games at a high res, where the GPU dose most of the work.
