Last night i was update my abit IP35-Pro bios to the newer version (16), after finish update the bios, as usually clear cmos. Boot up again and in the bios my cpu temp is showing 71C, i think is something wrong but i don't take it to much worries. Then start entering windows, in the uGuru utility my Q6600 core temp showing 75C (at idle). Whoa... wait a minute there... definitely is something wrong and i don't know what!!! using the old bios (14) at idle stay 20C - 21C. But now 75C with no oCed!!! that scared the hell out of me!!!

So, any other abit IP35-Pro user that have done flashing bios with Q6600 have same problem with i do or that have any problem flashing the bios?

I need help here, coz i dont burn out my Q6600.

Thanks for the input, i appreciated.

BIOS cpu fan set low @750RPM, BIOs CPU fan reading @2240. In the uGuru CPU fan read @2200rpm. Temp drop to 72C on idle, and in the POST code when it turn off display C.1. it usually display 9.9. I've just visit abit POST Code, and it said :
"C.0. : Detect memory-Auto-detection of DRAM size, type and ECC-Auto-detection of L2 cache (socket 7 or below) - Power on -> Stop at C100->C0->C1 - 1. SPD value lost 2.graphic card error 3.DIMM slot damage 4. Over clocking issue - 1. Please update flash BIOS first 2. Please change graphic card 3. Change slot first or send to RMA at last 4. Clear CMOS and load BIOS default"

Well i'm curious with overclocking issue, but you see i didn't oCed my Q6600 again.

Same issue here with a IP35-pro and a Q6600 oc@3ghz after the bios update (16) however my temp readings are less dramatic then yours.
There's something wrong with this bios.

But i have to say beside this issue i'm extremely satisfied with this motherboard
