Have some questions that some of you may be able to help me with my new build...parts should be here Friday from Newegg. I've done as much research as I possibly can but have questions.

I ordered the ASUS P5E, Q9300, Corsair Dominator 4Gb(2x2) DDR2-1066, and EVGA 8800GTS 512mb 256 GDDR3 PCI-E 2.0 video card.

My main concerns are:

1. Will the mb work out of the box w/Q9300 or will I have to update the bios first? And if so how do I get into the bios if the mb doesn't recognize the processor? I won't know what version the bios is until I get the mb.

2. I also need to know if the 2-Corsair Dominator 1066 2Gb chips will work together on this board. I read in the manual(online) that this board won't work with 128Mb chips. I don't really know if these chips are 128 or not.

3. I don't have any concerns about the video card...other that overheating. Should I pull the stock fan off and go with a Zalman like I did on my ASUS Silent 8600GT. The 8600 ran at almost 180 F. After putting the Zalman on...it dropped the temp by 70degs.

4. I have a Zalman 9700led CPU cooler...so no worries there!

5. I'm using XP Pro 32bit only because I don't have a copy of XP Pro 64 and know I will only see 3.25Gb...anyone have a copy?

If anyone has a similar system and situation out there...I'd appreciate any troubleshooting advise before I get into this mess!!
Thanks....you guys "ROCK"
