As for question 1, i would personally 'bodge' the rear an top fan together. Connect the Rear to the bottom of the tops wires then plug that into the controller. Both will be controlled as one
.
Question 2 i think can be answered by saying you can link your fans power by tapping off the HDD or Optical drives 4 pin molex.
