im trying to keep my budget at $900 but i need to know if that raidmax is a good psu. im trying to save money too.

The Raidmax has better 12v rail ratings, and by specs, is a stronger psu. A lot of people say it's a bad brand though. Higher specs won't do you any good if the thing is defective. I have no experience with either, and can't say.
Raidmax has been working for almost a year for me now the hybrid one anyways. Powers my q6600 my recent 4850 and 5 fans with 1 dvd drive 1 cdrom drive and 2 hard drives
