Dried -up dead mouse laying across the bottom slot of a mother board, inside a very dirty and dusty case.
Looks like an old PC with no side panel, that has been laying on it's side somewhere in a warehouse for about 10 years.

Well, it's a fossilized dinosaur sticking on the main board.
Just clean it, it might work lol.

Another "disgusting" thing is that im unable to see the results from this poll, or any poll from this forum, it doesnt matter which button i click, Vote or See Results, i always get

Sorry, you have already voted!

Back to previous page

And im having other annoying problems like, i cant edit or delect a thread or post i do, i only can edit it via Quick edit..

And sometimes i get "This thread doesnt exit" message when im trying to reply a thread, quick reply never fails though.

What's going on? :o

Is someone else experiencing these problems?

Reply to rickzor

Yeah, I some times have the same problems.

Good one, I think you should put in ebay for sell. People will buy it. Yes, it will post once you clean it.

I suspect it depends on what the vote is about. I will vote on this really dumb vote. Happy?

See, now I voted wrong. I said no. What I meant is don't bother. It probably will post, but it is complete junk so why bother spending a second dealing with it. Come to think of it this thread has wasted some of my life.

I work in the IT department at a medium sized healthcare organization and in fact I'm the one that maintains our content filter... if I REALLY wanted to see it at work, I'd just unblock it. However, I try not to be a hypocrite about things like this.

I was familiar with the type of setup you were referring to. Back in 2000 I was working at some internet startup that was way-too-proud about its network security and some guy at the help desk had used Netmeeting to connect back to his home PC to bypass any restrictions placed on him at work.

First of all, you didn't miss anything, as I'm sure you know by now. Isn't getting clever (not) and bypassing the company firewall cause for dismissal?

Is that a bus mouse or serial mouse?

eBay it. Advertise it as "as is, mouse included".

Here's one for the books. This women I knew at work had a house fire, totaled the house. She had a Acer 386, or 486 can not remember. Any way she gave me her PC. The FDD faceplate was melted, the Plastic on the case was melted and warped. Keyboard and Mouse were warped. Forget the CRT monitor, it look grotesque. You get the picture.

Had to cut the case to get the MB and PSU out.

Washed the MB and the PSU with detergent (NOT RECOMMENDED) followed with distilled H20, then 100% Isopropanol. Reassembled PSU, MB, GPU and HDD

Was it worth the effort?

Reply to Zorg

Nope, Never really used it much Don't remember what I did with it. It was more a question/challenge. There was smoke residue all over the MB and the PSU boards.

If you had fun then it was worth it.
