Is it possible to combine 3 cards 9800gx2 in tri sli mode, similar to 3x 8800 ultra?
or if not. Does it will be possible in near future?

Triple gx2 cards = 768 stream processors, 3gb ram

Unfortunately the answer is no from what I see with the cards available. If you search pics for these cards and pics for the 8800GTX cards you will see the 8 series has two bridge connectors and the 9 series has only 1. You have to have 2 to be able to use the tri sli bridge card.

Unless theres a version of the 9 series out there I dont know about you cant go tri sli on a 9 series.

I have thought about that too since I have the 780i mobo but I doubt theres much hope for that. If you go sli with 2 cards its basically considered a quad sli setup so I doubt you will see a tri sli setup due to this...

u wont b able 2 because nvidia does not have the drivers available for 6 GPU's at the moment. They can only support up to 2. I the near future though it would be crazy performance :pt1cable:
