Creative SoundBlaster Live Platinum 5.1 with LiveDrive (front PRO
connections and remote).

A friend of mine is selling the components of his computer. I google'd and found not a whole lot of definitive info. Wondering if you guys know a whole lot about it or if it's old or a good card still. Just wanting to know, because I need something instead of my onboard audio. Thanks all!

I'd get something else. There's nothing wrong with the hardware, it's just that Creative isn't providing driver support for that card for Vista.

Google search "daniel k creative" and you might find some drivers that work on vista...

But i would have to agree your better off looking for something else.
