A year ago I made a DVD of my backup stuff. It took a few DVDs to burn right but it eventually worked, i reformatted a few times and used the disc and it worked.

But now, when I try to explore the DVD on my computer, it doesnt see any files at all on it. So, I then try it on 2 other computers, they see the files but can't access them.

So, are the files there or gone for good? I tried using a CD buffer on the CD, I don't think it did anything. I don't see any cracks or anything.

Hi sigmo, welcome! Unless there are scratches (which according to you there are not), you could try recovering the data using the same application you used to create the backups originally.
