The only thing that bothers me is their durability due to the guage of
the wiring. Probably only 5 core so easy to break and given it is
retractable and therefor bent a lot more than standard cables stress
fractures in the wiring are a greater likelyhood.
Having said that they do look handy for someone who needs a light kit
for on the road travel.

I haven't seen the cable in question, but I have a ZipLinq cable that's
probably very similar, which I've been using for about a year with no
problems at all. I wouldn't put a lot of stress on it, but with moderate
care it's held up very well.
