Gigabyte 7800GT

Ive got gigabyte 7800GT and it came with this power cable that i am not sure if i should use it. Here's the pic of the power connector that camed wit ma 7800GT card :

My power supply has PCI-E power connector, should i use that instead of the extension provided with the card ? im confused so please tell me which one to use... ?

The cable in the picture is an adapter in the event that your PSU does not have a PCI-E connector. Since yours does, you do not need to use it. Connect the PSU to the 7800GT.
