Hey all
My mobo specs. state my max. CPU is a Pentium D 940(3.2 GHz.) Would there be any harm done running the PD 960 @ 3.6 GHz. ???? A friend in another state said he'd hook me up w/ a PD 960 (SL9K7) @ an unbeatable deal. Just wonderin.

What is your motherboard? Check the manufacturers site for BIOS updates that will enable other CPUs

The Pentium D 960 stock speed is 3.6GHz. There would be no harm.
