Hello, I reinstalled my OS over the existing one and now I want the old one back and cannot find it on my computer. Can you tell where it is? Supposedly it is in Windows-old, but I can't find that location.

Windows.old is created when Windows is upgraded, as opposed to a fresh install. Ie, installing Vista over XP, will create windows.old

to reinstall your original operating system you will need the system restore discs that came with the computer, or if you have a system restore partition then you can do a factory restore. you will need to consult your manual or manufacturer website for more info.
