got 2 push pins in on Q6600 stock but other two..

the two bolded ones u see are pusheed into place but the other two i cant get down can i just leave it like that? or will their be problems

you have to push quite hard to get the pins in id also sujest that you push in diagonally pins then the other 2 not 2 on the same side.

Yup, take your motherboard out of the case to do this so it doesn't ben more than it has to.

Before you buy an alienware just buy a cooler that doesn't use push pins. However you need to push the pins in a X pattern. Last I used a push pin HSF, I had to remove the mobo and actually push the pin down while reinforcing the mobo from underneath with my hand. I pushed almost hard enough to bruise my finger.

Get a Xigmatek HDT S-1283 with the mounting plate that goes on the bottom of the motherboard.
