So i just built a brand new computer tonight..
I want to OC its CPU from 2.2 to 2.8Ghz...
It is idling at 27 degrees with my fans/arctic 7 freezer pro heatsink...
I don't think that heat will be at all a problem...
So...here are my specs:
Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad processor
Gigabyte EP45 UD3P ( good for OC )
Corsair 2x2Gb at 800mhz
eVGA 9800GTX+
seagate 250gm
Windows Vista 32bit
750Watt PS from Corsair
I want to know what to change to get my cpu up to 2.8 ghz...
I know how to get to the bios tweaker options on my gigabyte mobo, but I dont know what to change..
should i increase the multiplyer or the frequency?
