I have a Abit IP35 mobo and a Antec 900 case. The 900's front mic input and headphone output seems to be working somewhat when I use Ventrilo. I can hear music through my headphones and I can talk through the mic and everyone hears it but I can not hear if anyone else talking. I have turned up the volumes on output device through Vent, I am also using the default speaker setting. I am using Vista 64, I have tried to add a sound device for the front headset jack but I am unable too. I was able to do it for the mic to work. Anyone have any advice? Could this be a sound problem with the mobo's onboard sound card? I do game alot and have been toying with getting a sound card. Do you guys think this could solve the problem and will a sound card offer that much of a difference in gaming?
