I have a EVGA 6800 GT  (256-P2-N376-AX) and for some reason once I plug it into my motherboard it just wont work..
 
I have the 580X version of MSI K9A Platinum I dont have a Power Supply with a 6 Pin connector for GPU's so I got a Molex to 6 pin adapter.
 
If it helps at all...
 
This Video card has a Artic Cooler on it, instead of stock.
 
Do you think it's the Adapter nopt working out for me? I'm lost and have no idea since this has never happened to me.
 
One I connect it I try to boot up but only a little green flash happens and fan does not even twitch or anything!
