Need help ! loading very slow
Last response: in Windows XP
laptop problem screen smashed,hooked to monitor,starts only in safemode , very slow loading on normal !
tried chkdsk ,sorted a few errors but still not loading in normal mode.

Windows may be waiting (until timeout) for the video card to respond to data sent to the original screen.
Go to device manager and uninstall the original monitor (if possible). Never turn on computer without the second monitor attached or Windows may "find" the first bad monitor again, and re-install it (Actually, it might anyway).
