e6600 @ 1.5v for 24/7 use safe?

ive had my cpu for almost two years now (oced too 3.0 @1.28v) but in order to get 3.4ghz i need to increase the vcore to 1.5 (1.48ish with vdroop). is this vcore to high? i want to keep using this cpu for at least 1 more year and even longer of possible. ive read from intel's site that this cpu is safe at 1.325, 1.365 and even 1.5 so i dont know what to think. Also the cpu stays at around 30 idle and up to 50 under load when oced to 3.4ghz

Here's a suggestion: find out what voltage you need to run at 3.3 GHz. Should be lower and the only way that you will be able to distinguish between the two speeds is to run a benchmark program.

3.0GHz @ 1.28, 3.4GHz @ 1.5. I know this isn't very hardcore, but the increase in volts here isn't worth the increase in speed. 400MHz for an extra .3v? Not worth it. (whats the increase in temps like?) I'd leave it at 3.0, or perhaps 3.2. Lower voltage, and you shouldn't have to worry about the chip dying.
