Hi guys
I'm looking for some advice on distributed computing.
I've seen http://helmer.sfe.se/ in which a guy has built his own rendering machine using an Ikea cabinet and 6 Q6600s.
I'm looking for something similar but rather than rendering I will be encoding 1080p video which is going to take an silly amount of time, this is something I am wanting to get into more and don't want to get a queue of work as I'm having to wait 30 hours for a full 50GB encode.
So...can anyone give me any advice or pointers about how I would start going about setting up distributed computing with...(here's the kicker)
Windows Vista 64 Ultimate
Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
I am looking at a 64bit system so I can use more than 4GB of RAM and the Adobe software I have is Windows only.
Any suggestions would be most welcomed!
