Hello. I heard that a computer can install drivers for those HDD expansion card adapter things when your installing the OS. I mean that since the expansion card won't run yet, you have to install the drivers so you can use the HDD attached to it which is where you're gonna install the OS.

So my question is, does Damn Small Linux (DSL) have the capability of having the expansion card drivers installed during the OS installation? Thanks.

With Linux the drivers are (usualy) included in the kernel, but can be loaded later if required (lookup modprobe & modprobe.d).

The Linux/BSD section of this forum is very active, try posting more details over there.
