I just built this rig and had a error with Irql and after talking to Asus and reseting my ram to Adata spec seems to be ok. But I started watching my temps to check out all of my stiff I found that my CPU temp would Idle at 49-52C. I have used Pc probe, Realtemp and Coretemp to check temps on my system. I have removed and reintalled with new thermal paste my stock heatsink but same issue. I have also used a IR temp gun to measure the temps of my pc and that only shows 30C idle and 38-40C during Cod4 play.
Any help as to what could be the problem or what the fix could be would be helpful. I have found a Lot posts for temp issues with this CPU and MB so I am not sure which direction to take. I will be getting a new Zalman today and see what that does for my temps.(I gotta try something).
