7950gx2 crashing

i got new 7950gx2, and i know that it is ok,
but while im playing test drive unl, system sometimes crash and sometimes freeze for a minute and then everything continue. i use forceware 93.71
i bought new 520W power supply, but nothing changed.

Have you tried disabling you antivirus before you installed the drivers for the video card???I had one of those cards and it worked awesome once I figured out how to install it correctly.There are also certian pieces of software that interfere with it.But that is dependant on the MB chipset and bios version.Goodluck.

why would anyone buy an 7950gx2 aren't they ancient and crappy?

Run memetest86+ and check for memory errors.
Take the cover off the side and try blowing a fan on the card to see if you have the same problem.

Update your driver to 174.74.
