The glue gun plastic on my enclosure attracts those d*mn ants and make my hard disk their hive.

Any suggestions how can I get those fckng ants out of my hard disk?

Thanks.

Huh? I'm assuming we are talking about an external drive here? I wouldn't worry about ants getting inside the drive itself, those things are sealed against dust. I doubt an ant would be able to get in.

could use a liquid ant trap next to it and see if they go for it, and if they do they will be dead

My hard drive is an internal HD that I use as an external HD by putting it in enclosure.

Same difference. The drive is sealed against dust, ants can't get inside the drive. They might get inside the enclosure, but is that even a problem?

There are some open holes in the outside of cover of the hard drive right?

They enter it and bring their trash. Some white little piece of trash.

Its a vent hole for air. I doubt an ant could get through it.

Ok. thanks everyone. I'm kinda relieved.

I thought they can reach the cluster of irons for data storage.
