Ok, I'm currently running two monitors from a 7950GT on my ASUS P5N-E mobo. I want to install a 7950GX2 for gaming, but I realise I'll lose the second display if I run in dual-GPU mode. Rather than keep switching modes, can I run the second monitor from the GT, while gaming with the GX2 in dual-GPU mode on the first? :pt1cable:

Thanks!

Wait what? So you want to add a 7950GX2 so that you can game from it, but keep the 7950GT so you can have a 2nd monitor. Why wouldn't you just replace the 7950GT with the 7950GX2?You can plug 2 monitors into it and when you are gaming it will only use the primary monitor. Do you already have a 7950GX2? I wouldn't buy one if you don't they aren't the greatest and can get a much better card.
