I have a receiver and it showes me how hi the hound is, what station, FM, AM, DVD, etc... I would like to get a small computer screen to show me the same thing.
what we are talking about is an HTPC or home theater PC. if you want to build your own several companies make PC cases that look just like home theater components and some even include remote controls! These will take standard PC parts inside. Or, you can buy a complete HTPC from several vendors as well. FYI - if you buld your own, the two major factors to consider are fan noise and cooling.
