$1000 and need help

I got 1k to spend on my new computer and want someone to help me decide.

Few Requirements:
1. Needs to have a monitor with it
2. Also needs vista 64bit.

4. would rather an intel build.

HDD: However large u want it. Seagate and WD are good. Also Samsung (for person below)
Optical: Samsung SH-203B
PSU: Corsair VX550 at buy.com is like $70
Case: Personal preference

What will you use it for? Do you need Quad core, (video editing etc) or will Duo (gaming) suffice? I agree, stick with a decent brand of HDD, I'd add Samsung to the list.
