Sending in a Hard Drive

So my 500gb 7200.11 Seagate died last week, and I'm about to send it into Seagate in order to get a new one. My concern is this, my hard drive is loaded with downloaded music, games, movies, etc... Would Seagate ever divulge this to the authorities?

Yes this is a stupid question, but I would like an informed answer. Thanks for all input!

More about sending hard drive
  1. Unless you request data recovery they won't take the time to look.
  2. Its not in any of their interest to do so, since if it ever got to the press, their sales could drop as a result of angry/scared users, turning to the competition. They will only do so if they are legally forced to.
