Hey,
I think that the temps of my pc are too high:

CPU-E6750- normal: 35c when playing: ~46c
GPU-8800gt- ~50c

what do u think?
thx

I am surprised you'd even suspect 46c on load was too high... absolutely safe regardless of where it is from.

I've got a E6750 over-clocked to 3.2ghz for 24/7 usage that I intend to keep for at least a couple of years hence the mild overclock and it idles at around 40c. On load will hit 55-60c and with a stress test 65c.

With a 3.6ghz over-clock I get load temps of around 70c with a stress test pushing it as high as 75c.

My 8800gt idles at 55c and when gaming will hit 85c.

As long as you keep the chip generally below 70c with sensible vcore it will more than likely out live it's useful life in your PC. Plus the E6750 is general more robust when you compare it with the rather delicate 45nm processors.

Generally OCing on the stock HSF is a bad idea. With my stock Intel HSF, my stock speeds had my cpu going into high 70s at load. I got the Zalman in my sig, and at stock it never went over 45. Now even with my OC, it idles at ambient, and at load only goes into low 60s. So, long story short, I'd say you MIGHT be able to get a tiny OC on your stock fan, but I wouldn't advise it.
