Faulty Ram?

I just got a new 4gb (2x 2gb) corsaid kit, 6400c5 ddr800 ram. One of the ram cards appear to be faulty, I tried many variations of slots with each card and both together but every time I put the (faulty) card in, my comp will start up and reset 3-7seconds later and continue this cycle. Is the ram just bad? Any way to fix it? Its brand new looks good, no scratches bumps on bottom etc.

Yes, RMA it if you set the right voltage in the bios and the timings to SPD.

RMA=return merchandise authorization.

When I am referring to SPD, I mean standard (auto) memory settings in the bios.
