-Should I prepare for SLI just incase? Is there another cheap board?
Change the case maybe a CM 690/Centurion. If money is no issue Antec 900 runs well although be sure to grab a modular PSU since that cable management is pesky. I'm going to grab a CM 690 soon to replace my NZXT lexa blackline.
Chuck in a better PSU since antec is aimed at the low ends - Your PC certainly isn't low end mid end = corsair, maybe a nice Seasonic (heck there all the same company just different ends of the market) S12/M12 series modular are very nice.
Check for an 8800GTS should run cooler and OC better at that res. Very nice monitor by the way going to order it next week when i get paid .
Be sure to grap a nice cpu cooler, perhaps a TRUE if your willing to spend the $.
I'm going to assume this is a gaming machine and you don't play FSX. The E8400 is better than the Q6600 if that's true. All your choices are good except the video card.
Get an 8800GTS 512MB. It's faster, and it pushes the heat out of the case, not inside the case like the 8800GT. Do NOT use a single-slot 8800GT in the Sonata case, too much heat to be healthy.
Burner: SH-S203B.
Forget SLI, it's pointless on your budget. You'd end up with two cheap cards working together and doing less than a single 8800-series card alone.
I'm assuming you won't overclock. If you want to overclock, forget the Sonata, get a 550VX from www.buy.com, get a CM 690 case, and add XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 CPU cooler to the mix.
