I like it. The only things I would change would be the power supply and motherboard.

Switch the PSU to one more reliable, like the Corsair 550VX or Corsair 620HX. Change the motherboard to a P35 chipset. You'll get more for your money that way.

the motherboard is bought, and i hear the power supply is great but its a matter of opinion right XD

Unfortunately, I don't have a link to more information about the PSU. The one source I had is missing now. I think either will work, I just understand that the Corsair is more stable.

Also, are you going to overclock? If so, you'll need an aftermarket cooler for your CPU. The Xigmatek HDT-S1283 is a great choice.

Why are you getting 2 DVD drives?

Finally, you also might want to think about getting the WD 640GB (WD6400AAKS) HDD. It is one of the best performers out right now, and only $30 more than the Seagate. However, the 7200.11 is also a great drive, so that is not a huge difference.

I am staying with my hard drive because i dont need 640 gb, i have a 150 now by WD so 500 is good enough, i will not be over clocking since it will be fast enough for me compared to my current computer, after all i am only 13 and this will be a majour improvement. i am getting 2 dvd drives so i can copy dvd to dvd without having to save to hard drive then burn. :D

No, its not a matter of opinion....fact is fact. That PSU is okay, pretty stable, not a lot of ripple and good components but I personally like Corsair, Silverstone is good, Seasonic (Corsair units), and Ultra X3.

Mobo is good but unnecessary with a nvidia GPU, but since u bought it I say overclock. It would be good with that board as it is very stable and can hit 500 FSB with a dual core.

I might go with a Corsair PSU...

Go for the Corsair 450vx/550vx

Im going 650w minimun mabye even 750w...

^Why? A Corsair 550VX is more than enough for that build. Remember Watts do not equal performance/reliability,etc.

I am going back to the Antec Neopower 650w because the Corsair does not have modular power in the wattage and price range I want.

I'm Canadian so I will be buying from the stores themselve: Tiger Direct (Canada) or Canada Computers.. But anyway I think I will be staying with the Antec 650 because the 620 is not in my range and the 520 seems a little low.

The 520 will be more than enough. My build with a Q9450 sips <160W when idle. I haven't checked under load but I doubt it doubles. I actually considered an Antec Earthwatts 380 for it, although the Enermax Liberty 500 I chose is also 80+ and has modular cables. It is also on tier-2 of the list at http://www.tomswiki.com/page/Tiere [...] ngs?t=anon, so I am confident of its quality. It is also very quiet.
