This is a real noob question but what is AGP Aperture all about? In the BIOS of my mobo I originally set this to the highest value possible (512MB) but soon had to decrease it to 64MB when Vista had trouble installing.

What have I missed out by decreasin the AGP aperture size?

It's the amount of system memory used/reserved for the graphics card.
